INTRODUCTION

Once there lived a powerful demon named “MUSHIKASUR” who was in the form of a big rat and created troubles to all the living beings in the earth and in the heaven. All the demi gods prayed to Lord Vinayaka, to safeguard them from the powerful demon. Lord Vinayaka started fighting with him and finally defeated him, and due to the request of the demon, he made him as his vehicle.

MAYURA

During the fight between Lord Murugan and Surapadman, Lord murugan had defeated Surapadman, and due to his request, he changed his appearance in the form of peacock and made him as his vehicle.

Both of these vehicles of vinayaka and muruga are considered as a form of divine deities and worshipped by the devotees of Vinayaka and Muruga, in order to get better prospects in their life.

Let us worship the divine deities and be blessed.
